Misc โ†’ FPS Boost

How to enableโ€‹

  1. Menu (Insert) โ†’ Misc โ†’ FPS Boost โ†’ turn on the State header toggle of the page. Off by default; while it is off, the setting groups are inactive.
  2. The five graphics-reduction groups are on right away; the two extra options are not.

What it doesโ€‹

  • When turned on, a base graphics reduction is always applied: fog, grass and small decor, 3D skybox, wind, ropes, bloom, depth of field, anti-aliasing and ambient occlusion (SSAO) are removed, and the draw distance of environment props is reduced. The FPS limit is set to 400.
  • On top of the base set, groups work that can each be turned off separately:
    • Shadows & lighting โ€” turns off shadows, sunlight and dynamic lighting;
    • Particles & effects โ€” fewer particles, splashes, sparks and hit effects;
    • Character detail โ€” no hair, cloth and body physics (ragdoll), no decals on models, simplified animations;
    • Texture quality โ€” lower-quality textures, less video memory;
    • Interface & camera โ€” lighter interface, no camera bob and no panel blur.
  • Extra (off by default):
    • Always show outlines โ€” hero outlines are visible at any distance;
    • Hide extra glow โ€” removes the glow of bosses, creeps and health bars.
  • Changes are applied immediately when toggled and again at the start of each match.
  • When the feature or a single group is turned off, the script restores the values that were there before it was turned on.

FAQโ€‹

FPS does not go above 400. With the boost on, the FPS limit is set to 400. Turn off the boost to get your own limit back.

How do I get my graphics back? Turn off the State header toggle of the page: the script restores the values that were there before it was turned on. To restore only one group (for example, shadows), turn off its toggle.

The game became too blurry. Turn off Texture quality: the rest of the optimization keeps working.
