Misc โ Chat guard
How to enableโ
- Menu (
Insert) โ Misc โ Chat guard. The State header toggle of the page is on by default. While it is off, the other items are inactive. - If you want the report to be sent right when the player is muted, turn on Auto report and choose a Report reason.
What it doesโ
- Watches other players' chat messages. Your own messages are not counted.
- Each message gives 1 point, a long message gives more (one more point for every ~150 bytes of text). If a player collects 5 points within 1 second, they get muted. In practice this is 5 regular messages per second or one very long message.
- The mute is applied the same way as the game's regular mute: the game remembers the player as muted and stops sending you their chat and voice.
- While State is on, the script also hides the muted player's messages by itself until the end of the match, and also the messages of players you muted yourself.
- The script cannot unmute. If you turn off State, the script stops hiding messages by itself and stops muting new flooders, but a game mute that was already applied stays.
- After a mute, a red card with the player's hero and nickname appears in the shared notification feed for 5 seconds:
- "Muted for flooding chat. Click to report." โ click the card to send a report with the selected reason;
- with Auto report on, the report is sent right away, and the card says "Report sent" or "Report could not be sent";
- if the player has no account (for example, a bot), the card only says "Muted for flooding chat" and no report is sent.
- After a click, another card appears: a green "Report sent" or a gray "Report could not be sent".
- The list of muted players is reset at the start and at the end of each match.

FAQโ
The player was muted, but there is no report. Without Auto report, the report is sent only when you click the card. The card stays for 5 seconds.
How do I unmute a player muted by the guard? The script has no unmute button. The guard applies a regular game mute, so turning off State does not remove it: the script only stops hiding messages by itself and muting new flooders, while the game still does not send you that player's chat and voice. Such a mute can only be removed with the game's own tools, like a mute applied manually. The script clears its own list of muted players at the start and at the end of each match.
Why was a player muted after writing just one message? A very long message (around 600 bytes or more) reaches the threshold at once. You can't type that much by hand in normal typing; that is how spam scripts write.
