Auto Last Hit

Dota 2 ยท Utility. While a key is held or toggled on, the selected units last hit and deny creeps on their own at the right moment. The script also highlights creeps that can be last hit with an attack and shows icons of the abilities that kill a creep right now.

Utility โ†’ Auto Last Hit โ†’ Attacks / Abilities

The page is split into two tabs along the top:

  • Attacks: the Binds, Attack indicator, Damage on health bar and Target highlight sections.
  • Abilities: icons of abilities and items over the creeps they kill.

How to enableโ€‹

  1. Menu (Insert) โ†’ Utility โ†’ Auto Last Hit. Turn on the header toggle of the page: the script is off by default.
  2. On the Attacks tab, in the Binds section, assign the Key. The switch left of the key sets its mode: Hold (default; last hits while the key is held) or Toggle (press โ€” on, press again โ€” off). The key is not set by default. More about key modes: Hotkeys and logic.
  3. Select your hero (or several of your units) and press the key. The units selected at the moment you press it do the last hitting.
  4. The "Under cursor" mode (default) works without the humanizer too. The "Near cursor" and "Automatic" modes require the Humanizer to be on (Settings โ†’ Humanizer). By default it is held off by Safe mode, the "Server anti-cheat" part.

The indicators (star, damage on the bar, highlight) and the ability icons work without the bind; it is enough for the script to be on.

What it doesโ€‹

Last hitting on a bind

  • While the bind is active, the script issues orders to the selected units itself: it waits for the right moment and attacks so that the hit kills the creep. It takes into account attacks from other units already flying at the creep, ability damage that lands on it before your hit (projectiles, damage over time, delayed blasts, extra hits such as Tidebringer's cleave), and Glyph invulnerability.
  • Besides enemy creeps, it also last hits (denies) your own creeps when their health is low enough.
  • The target is chosen by the Target setting. The modes are shown as plates; the picked plate opens on its own settings:
    • Under cursor ("You pick the unit, the script picks the moment"): the unit the cursor is on, any kind (an enemy creep, your own creep to deny, a hero, a tower). The hero goes where the cursor points. Once the unit under the cursor is in attack range, the hero stops and waits for the moment to hit; if it faces away from the target, the script turns it with a short step toward the cursor, without walking closer and without starting the swing too early. Works without the humanizer: in that case the script sends the order itself, bypassing the humanizer, and only where the cursor points (on the unit under the cursor or to the point under the cursor) โ€” just like your own click. If the cursor is not on a creep, the hero simply walks to the cursor.
    • Near cursor ("Aim roughly, the script takes the closest creep"): the unit closest to the cursor within the "Finding range", or the one under the cursor if there is one. It takes only the unit kinds picked in the attack indicator's Show on. Skips creeps with HP above the threshold (HP counted after the abilities that land on the creep in the next 2 s), except those one hit may kill (for example, with a critical strike). The hero walks to the cursor and turns to the creep once it is in attack range. Requires the humanizer: without it, the bind attacks only the creep right under the cursor, and the plate shows a warning about this.
    • Automatic ("You walk the hero, the script takes what is in reach"): anything your units can last hit within attack range plus the "Finding range", among the unit kinds picked in the attack indicator's Show on. Last hits come before denies; creeps others are about to take go first. The Last hit (enemy creeps, towers and illusions) and Deny (your own creeps and towers) toggles set what it takes. While there is nothing to take, the units walk to the cursor (if "Walk to cursor" is on). Requires the humanizer: without it, the mode works like "Under cursor", and the plate shows a warning about this.
  • Walk to cursor (every mode, on by default): over empty ground the hero walks where the cursor points. Off โ€” the script orders units only: the attack, and in "Under cursor" and "Near cursor" modes also the walk and turn to the unit under the cursor; in "Automatic" mode it does not move the hero at all. You move the hero yourself.
  • With the key in Toggle mode, your own order (move, attack, cast, stop, hold position) turns last hitting off until the next press. If "Walk to cursor" is off, your move orders do not turn it off.
  • Show search radius ("Automatic" only): while the bind is active, a light blue ring is drawn on the ground around each of the bind's units โ€” attack range plus the "Finding range". "Under cursor" and "Near cursor" draw no ring.
  • The "stop" order (for example, so the hero doesn't walk away or turns toward the target) and the turn toward the target are also sent without the humanizer.
  • In Demo Hero mode, all modes work without the humanizer as well.
  • Contest kills: if a creep is about to be taken by someone else's hit and yours is not yet a guaranteed kill, the script still attacks when your hit will land first and can kill.

Indicators

  • Attack indicator: an icon (a star by default) to the right of the creep's health bar.

    • red โ€” too early to hit;
    • yellow โ€” will kill only with a high damage roll;
    • green โ€” will kill.

    In the "Red, green" scheme (default) there is no yellow: the star turns green only when it kills with any damage roll.

    Show on sets which units get the icon (by default all except allied heroes). Enemy heroes (and allied ones, if picked) near your hero get the icon beside their health bar in every target mode. Other units get it in "Under cursor" mode only while the cursor is on them, and in the other modes all of them near your hero do. Wards get only the green icon โ€” when your hit kills them (your own โ€” when they can be denied).

    The same Show on list sets whom the "Near cursor" and "Automatic" modes attack. "Under cursor" attacks any unit under the cursor.

  • Damage on health bar: the part of the HP bar your hit will take off. Dark color โ€” won't kill, bright โ€” will kill. Enemy and allied (deny) creeps have separate colors.

  • Target highlight: an outline around the health bar of the creep selected by the bind. You can enable chams: creeps are colored depending on whether your hit will kill them right now.

Hit timing

  • A row on the Attacks tab, off by default. After each last hit and deny of your units, a label appears over the creep for 4 seconds showing how precisely the hit landed (1 tick is 1/30 of a second):
    • "LH Nt" / "DENY Nt" โ€” how many ticks the creep had already been within your minimum damage when the hit landed (0 โ€” the first tick it could);
    • "EARLY Nt" โ€” your hit left the creep alive, and someone else took it N ticks later;
    • "LATE Nt" โ€” someone else took the creep N ticks before your hit was due;
    • "ROLL" โ€” the creep was taken by a high damage roll or a critical strike. A last hit with an ability is labeled without ticks.

Ability icons (Abilities tab)

  • Over the health bar of an enemy creep, icons appear for the picked abilities and items of your hero that kill it right now: the ability is ready (off cooldown, enough mana, the hero is not silenced or stunned), the creep is within 1200 of the hero, and the ability's damage is at least the health the creep will have left when it lands. That health accounts for the attacks that land on the creep earlier, while the order, the turn, the cast and the ability's flight take place. If others' hits kill the creep first, there is no icon. Several matching abilities stand in a row.
  • The script does not cast the abilities: an icon only shows what can finish the creep.
  • The Abilities and Items lists fill in during a game: they offer the damaging active abilities and items of the heroes you control (for example, Dagon โ€” all levels as one icon). Ultimates, channeled abilities, toggled abilities and attack modifiers are not offered.
  • Abilities that move the hero (jumps, dashes, blinks โ€” for example, Timber Chain, Skewer, Burrowstrike, Blink Strike) are offered but not picked by default. Everything else is picked by default.
  • If the icons stand on the same side of the bar as the attack indicator's star, they stand beyond the star. The "Left of the star" / "Right of the star" positions put the row of icons next to the star. The place follows the star's position even when no star is drawn over the creep, so the icons don't jump around.

Until there is a hero with suitable abilities in a game, the note "Requires lobby and hero" is shown instead of the lists.

The page (on both tabs) has a preview with a creep: it shows how the star, the ability icons, the damage on the bar and the highlight look. The star and the row of icons on the preview can be dragged to another position, the mouse wheel changes the size, and right-click opens the settings. Clicking the star changes its icon. While no ability is picked, the preview shows sample icons.

FAQโ€‹

Auto last hit doesn't last hit: I press the key and nothing happens.

  • Check that the script itself is on (header toggle of the page, off by default) and the Key is assigned in "Binds" (not set by default).
  • Check the key's mode: in Toggle mode the first press turns last hitting on and the second turns it off; in Hold mode it works only while the key is held.
  • The bind controls only the units selected at the moment you press it. Select your hero.
  • If the Humanizer is off (which it is by default), the script hits only the unit right under the cursor. Hover the cursor over a creep and hold the bind: the hit will come at the right moment. If the cursor is on the ground, the hero simply walks to the cursor. In this case "Automatic" mode works like "Under cursor", and "Near cursor" also hits only the creep under the cursor. To hit creeps near the cursor or around the hero, turn on the humanizer (Settings โ†’ Humanizer). If the toggle is greyed out, it is held by Safe mode, the "Server anti-cheat" part. Turning it off is at your own risk.
  • In "Near cursor" mode, creeps with HP above "Skip creeps above HP %" (50% by default) are not chosen unless one hit may kill them.
  • In "Automatic" mode, check that Last hit and/or Deny are on.
  • "Near cursor" and "Automatic" take only the unit kinds picked in the attack indicator's Show on.
  • In Toggle mode, your own order turns last hitting off โ€” press the key again.

The hero walks away after a last hit. Turn on "Release after the kill" (available only with the key in Hold mode): after the creep dies, the key is treated as released.

I don't want the script to move my hero. Turn off "Walk to cursor" (it applies to every mode). "Automatic" will only attack, while "Under cursor" and "Near cursor" will also walk to the unit under the cursor and turn to it.

There is no search radius ring. The ring is drawn only in "Automatic" mode and only while the bind is active. Check that Show search radius is on.

There are no abilities to pick on the Abilities tab. The lists fill in only during a game, once your hero has damaging active abilities or items (for example, Dagon). Ultimates and channeled abilities are not offered.

The ability icon doesn't appear over a creep. The icon is shown only when the picked ability is ready right now (off cooldown, enough mana, the hero is not silenced or stunned), the creep is an enemy within 1200 of the hero, and the ability's damage is at least the creep's health. Abilities that move the hero are not picked by default โ€” pick them in the list. The script does not cast abilities itself.
