Where to find it in the menuโ€‹

Misc โ†’ Crosshair

The page has two cards: Recoil crosshair and Sniper crosshair. Each has its own header toggle.

How to enableโ€‹

  1. Menu (Insert) โ†’ Misc โ†’ Crosshair.
  2. Recoil crosshair is off by default โ€” turn on the header toggle of its card.
  3. Sniper crosshair is on by default. To see it while scoped as well, turn on Remove scope overlay.
  4. While the page is open and the sniper crosshair is on, the menu shows a preview of it, so you can immediately see how the settings change it.

What it doesโ€‹

Recoil crosshair

  • Draws a small circle where the next bullet will land with the current recoil taken into account. During a spray it moves up and to the sides along with the spray pattern.
  • While the point matches the center of the screen (you are not shooting), the circle is invisible; it fades in as it moves away from the center.
  • Not drawn with sniper rifles or when you are dead.

Sniper crosshair

  • Drawn only while you are holding a sniper rifle and are alive.
  • Always visible when not scoped. When scoped โ€” only if "Remove scope overlay" is on: the game's own crosshair disappears together with the overlay.
  • Style sets what the crosshair is made of: cross, T-style (no top arm), dot, circle, cross and circle, corners.
  • Spread: with "Follow spread" the arms (or only the ring) spread apart when the weapon loses accuracy โ€” like the game's standard crosshair. "Spread ring" draws a circle the size of the cone the next shot can land in.
  • Look: color (you can set a gradient across the crosshair parts or rainbow), opacity, dark outline, soft glow, a round halo under the center, and "breathing" โ€” the glow and halo fade in and out.
  • Options that do not affect the selected style are hidden. For example, the "Dot" style has no arm settings.

FAQโ€‹

My sniper crosshair is not visible when scoped. When scoped it is drawn only if Remove scope overlay is on: otherwise the scope mask with the game's own crosshair lies on top of it.

The recoil crosshair is not visible.

  • It appears only when the impact point moves away from the center of the screen, that is, while shooting.
  • The recoil crosshair is not drawn with sniper rifles.

I can't find the arm length / gap setting. Options that the selected style does not use are hidden. For example, with "Full-screen arms" the arm length is not needed, and the "Dot" style has no arms.
