HUD cards

Where to find it in the menu

On screen: the script card · in the menu: script page → Size
Settings → Snap between panels / Snap panels to screen center

How to use

  • Move a card: hold it with the left mouse button and drag it. The position is saved in the config.
  • Find a card to set it up: open the script's page in the menu. While the page is open, a sample card is shown on screen, even if there is nothing to show in the game right now. You can move it right away.
  • Open the card's settings: with the menu open, right-click the card — the menu jumps to its page. If you hold the cursor over the card, the tooltip "Right-click to open in menu" appears. A script can turn this tooltip off for cards you work with by mouse all the time (buttons, dragging inside the card) — right-click still works.
  • Change the size: the Size slider on the script's page. Some cards have a corner at the bottom right that can be dragged with the mouse.
  • Move precisely: hold the card and press the arrow keys — each press moves it by 1 pixel. Holding an arrow moves it continuously.

What it does

  • A card does not go past the edges of the screen. It can be placed anywhere on the screen, including wide monitors (up to 32:9) and a reduced menu scale.
  • A card keeps its place through a resolution or menu scale change. If the saved place does not fit the current screen (for example, a config from a larger monitor), the card stands at its edge.
  • Snapping: while dragging, a card snaps to the edges and centers of other cards and to the center of the screen. Snap lines are highlighted with the accent color. Snapping can be turned off in Settings.
  • After the first arrow key press, snapping is turned off until the end of that drag, so a precise move is not pulled back.
  • Script cards are visible in a match. While the menu is open, they are also visible outside a match so you can arrange them. When the game shows its own screen over the world, the cards are hidden (with the menu closed).
  • Dota 2: a card is hidden when its top left corner is covered by a game panel (shop, scoreboard).
  • The look of the cards (colors, opacity, blur, font) is set in Themes → Panels: they can follow the menu theme or have their own.

FAQ

How do I move a script's timer / panel? Open the script's page in the menu: a sample card appears. Drag it with the mouse.

The card "jumps" and doesn't land exactly where I drag it. That is snapping to neighboring cards and the screen center. Turn it off in Settings, or, while holding the card, move it with the arrow keys.

In Dota 2 the card disappeared when I opened the shop. The card is hidden while its corner is covered by a game panel. Close the panel or move the card.

Right-clicking the card does nothing. Jumping to the settings with a right-click works only while the menu is open.
