How to enable

1. Menu (Insert) → Settings → Watermark.
2. The watermark is on by default. It is turned on and off with the toggle in the page header.
3. By default the bar is in the top right corner of the screen. Drag it with the mouse to where you want it (HUD cards).

What it does

• Shows the selected items in a single bar: the Octarine brand, frame time, FPS, 1% Low, clock.
  • Frame time — how many milliseconds the last frame took to draw (lower is better);
  • FPS — frames per second (higher is better);
  • 1% Low — the average FPS of the worst 1% of frames over the last 4 Refresh rate intervals (2 seconds at 500 ms): shows stutters, not just the average. A stutter shows while it is recent and leaves the reading a few seconds later. Counted only in a match; until frames have been collected for the whole window, it shows "—" instead of a number;
  • Clock — local time, HH:MM or HH:MM:SS.
• FPS and frame time readings are updated once per Refresh rate, not every frame, so the numbers can be read.
• The order of items is changed with the mouse: with the menu open, hold an item in the bar and drag it to a new place. A turned-off item returns to its previous place when turned back on.
• Right-clicking the bar with the menu open opens this page.
• The look is taken from Themes → Panels.

The bar position is set by dragging with the mouse; there is no separate setting for it.

FAQ

How do I remove the logo from the screen? Brand: Text only leaves the word Octarine instead of the logo. The bar is not shown without a brand at all: to remove it completely, turn off the toggle in the header of the Settings → Watermark page.

How do I swap FPS and the clock? Open the menu and drag the item you want inside the bar with the mouse.

The FPS numbers change too slowly / too fast. Change the Refresh rate: a lower value means more frequent updates.
