Air stop
CS2 ยท Movement. If you release all movement keys mid-jump, the character kills their horizontal speed by itself and falls almost vertically.

How to enableโ
- Menu (
Insert) โ Movement โ Air stop โ turn on Air stop. Off by default. - Mid-jump, release W/A/S/D โ braking starts.
What it doesโ
- While you are in the air and not holding any movement keys, applies movement against your current velocity exactly enough to cancel it.
- Press any movement key โ braking stops, and you control your flight again.
- If you need to brake with movement keys held, or on the ground, use Auto stop on a key.

Braking does not trigger. It works only in the air and only when no movement key is held.
How do I stop in the air without releasing the keys? Use Auto stop: while its key is held, braking works regardless of the movement keys.
