Movement โ†’ Auto strafe

How to enableโ€‹

  1. Menu (Insert) โ†’ Movement โ†’ Auto strafe โ†’ turn on Auto strafe. Off by default.
  2. In game, hold Space while jumping and choose the direction with W/A/S/D.
  3. Auto strafe and Null strafe do not work together: turning one on turns the other off.

For continuous jumping while holding Space, also turn on Bhop.

What it doesโ€‹

  • In the air, turns your view within the tick to the best angle relative to your current velocity so that every movement adds speed. The flight direction is set with the movement keys.
  • Works only while Space is held. The exception is a jump made by Edge jump: after it, auto strafe works even without Space.
  • Does not work while Shift (walk) is held, or while Edge bug is guiding the character.
  • Works only on servers that allow turning the view within a tick (a server setting). On other servers it does nothing.

FAQโ€‹

Auto strafe does not work.

  • Hold Space while jumping: without it the feature does not activate.
  • Release Shift.
  • On some servers, turning the view within a tick is disabled by the server settings, and auto strafe does not work there.

I enabled auto strafe and Null strafe turned off (or vice versa). These features are mutually exclusive; only one can be on.
