Where to find it in the menuโ€‹

Visuals โ†’ Off-screen

The page has sections: Enemies, Grenades, Effects, Layout, Appearance. The first three have their own header toggle.

How to enableโ€‹

  1. Menu (Insert) โ†’ Visuals โ†’ Off-screen.
  2. Turn on the header toggle of the page: the feature is off by default.
  3. The Enemies, Grenades and Effects sections are on by default โ€” turn off the ones you don't need in their headers.

What it doesโ€‹

  • For each object off screen, it draws a pointer in its direction. The pointer fades in and out smoothly.
  • Enemies: living enemies within "Max distance". No more than "Max indicators" of the nearest ones are shown. Enemies behind obstacles are drawn paler ("Hidden enemy opacity"). With "Visible enemies only", pointers remain only for those not blocked by an obstacle.
  • Grenades: grenades in flight, with the grenade type icon and its own color. By default only enemy grenades. "Detonation timer" shows how much time a fused grenade has left until it explodes.
  • Effects: smoke clouds and burning areas, with the time they have left.
  • The time is shown with tenths when little is left, and in whole seconds when a lot is left.
  • The farther the object, the paler the pointer: at "Fade distance" it reaches "Distant marker opacity".
  • Placement:
    • Center ring (default) โ€” pointers sit on a ring around the screen center; the radius is set in percent;
    • Screen edge โ€” pointers are pressed against the screen edges with the set inset.

FAQโ€‹

There are no pointers. The feature is off by default โ€” turn it on in the page header. Pointers appear only for objects off screen and within "Max distance".

I don't see pointers to my own grenades. "Enemy grenades only" is on by default. Turn it off.

The pointers get in the way in the center of the screen. Increase "Focus radius" or set "Placement โ†’ Screen edge".
