Visual โ†’ Speed graph

How to enableโ€‹

  1. Menu (Insert) โ†’ Visual โ†’ Speed graph โ†’ turn on the toggle in the page header. Off by default.
  2. Drag the panel with the mouse to where you want it (by default it is at the bottom of the screen). More details: HUD cards.

What it doesโ€‹

  • Every frame it records the hero's speed in meters per second and draws a graph over the last Window (s) seconds.
  • By default only ground speed is counted. With Count climb, the vertical part of the movement is added (jumps, zipline).
  • The scale adapts to the readings, but its top never drops below 8 m/s (normal running is about 6 m/s).
  • Mini (default) โ€” a compact panel: only the graph, with the current speed written over it. Without "Mini", the panel has a "Speed" header with the current value and a row with the average and maximum for the window (Readings).
  • With Ramp with speed, the graph shifts from Color to Top color as the speed increases.
  • While there is no hero or the hero is dead, the panel shows a demo wave so you can pick a style.

FAQโ€‹

I can't see the average and maximum speed. They are shown in the Readings row, which is available only without Mini. Turn off "Mini".

Speed does not increase when jumping. By default only ground speed is counted. Turn on Count climb.

The panel shows a wavy graph even though I'm dead or haven't picked a hero yet. Without a living hero the panel draws a demo wave. When the hero is alive and standing still, the graph shows 0.
