Where to find it in the menuโ€‹

Visual โ†’ Radiuses

The page has a common Line style option and the sections: Heroes, Bear (visible only while a Spirit Bear is in the game), Towers, Runes, Custom. Each section has a header toggle.

How to enableโ€‹

  1. Menu (Insert) โ†’ Visual โ†’ Radiuses. The main header toggle of the page is on by default. While it is off, the other options are inactive.
  2. Turn on the header toggle of the section you need. By default only Towers is on. Heroes, Bear, Runes and Custom are off.
  3. For heroes: enter a match, open the Heroes section โ†’ the hero you want, and select abilities or turn on Attack.

What it doesโ€‹

Heroes

  • Each hero in the match gets its own page in the section (the hero name; for a clone โ€” marked "clone"; for a second identical hero โ€” "#2" and so on). The pages are grouped under the headings Your hero, Allies, Enemies. The list is built as the game goes on.
  • The icon row contains the hero's abilities and items that have a cast range or an area of effect radius. Click an icon to draw its circle. By default only Blink Dagger is selected. Each selected icon gets a row with a color and a gear (fill, team).
  • The circle radius is the ability's cast range, or, if it has none, its area of effect radius. For an ability that has not been learned yet, the level 1 value is used. The radius updates when the level, items and cast range bonuses change.
  • For Shadow Fiend, the Shadowraze circles are drawn at the impact point in front of the hero and move with him.
  • Attack turns on the hero's attack range circle. It updates when the attack range changes. The color is on the same row, fill and team are behind the gear.
  • Passive abilities and minor items (Tango, Healing Salve, Clarity, Iron Branch, Magic Stick/Wand, Quelling Blade, Enchanted Mango, Shadow Amulet, Battle Fury), as well as Invoker's orbs, are not included in the list.
  • Circles are not drawn for a dead hero.

Bear

  • The section is visible only while a Spirit Bear (Lone Druid) is in the game.
  • The bear's attack range circle, if Attack is on.
  • When a bear is in the match, the section shows an icon row with its abilities and items โ€” by the same rules as for heroes. Click an icon to draw its circle around the bear. By default none are selected. If the bear leaves the game, the row is hidden and rebuilt when it appears again.

Towers

  • The attack range circle of each living tower. Whose towers to draw is chosen in "Team"; each side has its own color, set right at the option in the list.
  • At night, the circle of tier 1 towers shrinks to match their night vision.
  • Target: a red line from the tower to the unit it is attacking (if the unit is visible and within attack range).

Runes

  • A circle with a radius of 140 around each rune โ€” the distance from which it can be picked up. Drawn as a semi-transparent fill in the selected color.

Custom

  • Five custom circles around your hero: Radius #1 โ€ฆ Radius #5. Each one is turned on with the toggle on its row, where its color also is; radius and fill are behind the gear. While the hero is dead, the circles are hidden.

Line style

  • One option for the whole page sets the line of all circles: regular or "Rope".

FAQโ€‹

I turned on the "Heroes" section, but there are no circles. By default only Blink Dagger is selected for each hero, and only "Controllable" is checked in "Team". Open the page of the hero you want, select abilities and, if needed, check "Enemies" or "Allies" in "Team" behind the ability's gear.

There is no "Bear" section. It appears only while a Spirit Bear is in the game and is hidden when there is no bear.

The "Heroes" section is empty. Hero pages only appear in a match, once the heroes have loaded.

I don't see the range of my own towers. By default only "Enemies" is checked in "Team" for towers. Check "Allies".

How do I draw a circle of a specific radius around myself? Turn on the Custom section, then set the color on the Radius #1 row and the radius you want behind its gear. You can turn on up to five such circles.
