Visual โ†’ Visible By Enemy

Inside are the General settings, Heroes and Roshan sections.

How to enableโ€‹

  1. Menu (Insert) โ†’ Visual โ†’ Visible By Enemy.
  2. The script is on by default. It is turned on and off with the header toggle of the page.
  3. The effect style is chosen in General settings โ†’ "Particle effect". The "Disable" option removes the effect from all units.

What it doesโ€‹

  • When the enemy sees your own or an allied unit, an effect appears above the unit.
  • While the unit is watched by an enemy you also see (or the unit is under an effect that gives the enemy its vision), the effect stays at full strength for as long as that lasts. When that enemy loses sight of the unit, the effect fades out over "Show time (sec)" seconds.
  • If the unit was spotted by an enemy you cannot see, the effect lights up and smoothly fades out over "Show time (sec)" seconds: whether that enemy is still looking is unknown.
  • Who it is shown for (with default settings):
    • heroes โ€” yours and allied ones, as well as clones and illusions (see the Heroes section);
    • allied buildings: towers, shrines, Watchers, Underlord's portal. Barracks and the Ancient are highlighted only with the Arrow, Lightning and Axis effects;
    • couriers, wards, Lone Druid's bear, Techies' mines and minefield sign, Roshan's Banner, Templar Assassin's Psionic Traps, Treant's Eyes in the Forest;
    • the Tormentor โ€” when the enemy sees it;
    • Roshan โ€” only if "Particle effect" is on in the Roshan section (off by default).
  • Creeps are not marked with the effect by default.
  • The effect color can be set for most options. The Radial, Beam, Beam light, Dark, Purge and Timer effects have their own color, and the color picker is hidden for them.

FAQโ€‹

There is no effect on anyone. Check the header toggle of the page and "Particle effect" in General settings: with the "Disable" option, the effect is not drawn.

The effect stays even though the enemy has already left. The effect fades over "Show time (sec)" (2 s by default) after visibility is lost. Lower the value to make it disappear faster. If the effect stays on, the unit is still watched by an enemy you also see, or the unit is under an effect that gives the enemy its vision.

I want to see the effect only on my own hero. In the Heroes section, turn on "Only self".

I can't change the effect color. Some effects (Radial, Beam, Beam light, Dark, Purge, Timer) have a fixed color, and the color picker is hidden. Choose another effect.
