Watermark

Shows a draggable on-screen panel with the Octarine brand and technical readouts: FPS, frame time, 1% low, Safe mode status and a clock.

Visual  โ†’  Watermark

What it doesโ€‹

The watermark panel displays the Octarine brand and a set of performance and time readouts. The brand appearance is chosen with the Brand dropdown (logo with text, logo only, or text only). The FPS and frame-time values are refreshed on the Refresh rate interval rather than every frame, so the numbers don't flicker. The panel can be dragged with the left mouse button.

Each readout is toggled independently:

  • Frame time โ€” how long the last frame took to render, in milliseconds (lower is better);
  • FPS โ€” current frames per second (higher is better);
  • 1% Low โ€” the average FPS of the worst 1% of frames; reflects stutters, not just the average;
  • Safe mode status โ€” whether Safe mode is currently active (it caps risky settings);
  • Clock โ€” the current local time; Clock seconds adds seconds to the clock.
