Lone Druid
Dota 2 ยท Heroes. Lone Druid has his own Savage Roar card (roar in attack range or only on a rooted target), a bear card on the Combo tab from the start of the game, and his own bear logic: the summon goes first in the combo, and Return is used only when it is faster than walking. The rest of the combo is shared.

An ability card opens with the icon in the corner of the tile or with a right click on the tile. The bear card (Spirit Bear) is on the Combo tab even before the first summon: it turns the bear's abilities on and off and sets their order. Tiles on the Alternative combo tab have their own cards with their own values. The other tabs of the page are shared by all heroes โ see Hero page.
How to enableโ
- Menu (
Insert) โ Heroes โ Lone Druid โ turn on the header toggle of the page (off by default). The general requirements (main toggle, combo key) are in Hero page and General settings. - Turn on the Humanizer: the combo does not work without it.
What it doesโ
- Default ability order: Summon Spirit Bear โ True Form โ Entangle โ Savage Roar. Items first: Black King Bar, Blink Dagger, Scythe of Vyse, Abyssal Blade, Orchid Malevolence. Ethereal Blade, Eul's Scepter, Meteor Hammer, Psychic Headband and Veil of Discord are off by default.
- Summon Spirit Bear is cast right away, as the first step of the combo, if there is no living bear. While the bear is alive it is not summoned again (that would pull the bear out of the fight to the druid).
- The bear fights by its own plan from the Spirit Bear card: the bear's Savage Roar, Return, Fetch.
- The bear uses Return only if the channel plus the way from Lone Druid to the target is shorter than the bear's walk from where it stands. Otherwise the bear walks to the target itself.
- Savage Roar (both Lone Druid's and the bear's) is cast only on a target within the roaring unit's attack range; if the target is farther, the unit walks in first. This way the feared target doesn't run off from the edge of the roar.
- With Only on a rooted target, the roar waits for a root on the target (for example from Entangle) so the feared target can't run away. Until then the combo goes on without the roar.

FAQโ
How do I turn off the bear's abilities in the combo? On the Combo tab open the Spirit Bear card and turn off or reorder the tiles of its abilities. The card is available even before the bear is summoned.
Lone Druid doesn't cast Savage Roar. The roar waits until the target is within attack range. With Only on a rooted target it is cast only on a rooted target: keep Entangle in the plan or set "In attack range".
The bear doesn't use Return. Return is used only when it gets the bear to the target faster than walking. If the bear is closer to the target than Lone Druid, it walks.
