Rubick
Dota 2 ยท Heroes. Rubick has an "Auto Steal" tab of his own: you pick spells, and Spell Steal takes them from enemies by itself โ in the combo and out of it. In the combo Telekinesis drops the lifted target onto another enemy or toward your hero, and stolen spells get their own tiles in the plan.

Where to find it in the menuโ
Heroes โ Rubick โ Auto Steal
The other tabs of the page are shared by all heroes โ see Hero page.
How to enableโ
- Menu (
Insert) โ Heroes โ Rubick โ turn on the header toggle of the page (off by default). The general requirements (main toggle, combo key) are in Hero page and General settings. - Turn on the Humanizer: neither the combo nor Auto Steal works without it.
- On the Auto Steal tab, pick spells in Spells to steal โ nothing is picked by default, and Rubick steals nothing by himself. The Auto Steal toggle is on by default.
What it doesโ
Combo
- Default plan order: Telekinesis โ Fade Bolt โ Spell Steal. A stolen ability appears in the plan as a separate tile after them, and the combo casts it like any hero ability.
- Telekinesis: while the target is in the air, the script picks the landing spot โ onto another enemy hero the landing stun can reach, or, if there is none, toward your nearest hero (Rubick himself first), but no closer than his attack range.
- Spell Steal: if a stolen ability is ready and on in the plan, Spell Steal waits and doesn't replace it.
Auto Steal
- Spell Steal is cast by itself at an enemy hero within steal range if that hero's last spell that went off is in the Spells to steal list. Rubick doesn't walk anywhere to steal. Works in the combo and out of it.
- The list order is the priority. A picked spell already stolen and ready is not traded for a spell lower in the list. The same spell is not stolen twice. Of several enemies in range, the one whose spell ranks higher is taken.
- In the combo a steal takes one cast, then the combo goes on.
- The combo's own Spell Steal doesn't trade a picked stolen spell โ ready or not โ for one that isn't picked.
- The list shows the spells of the current match's enemies first (a section per hero), then the Other heroes section. You can pick before the match too: the choice is kept between games. Passive abilities and talents are not in the list.

FAQโ
Auto Steal steals nothing. By default the Spells to steal list is empty. Pick spells. A steal goes only if the enemy is within Spell Steal range (Rubick doesn't walk up) and their last spell that went off is one of the picked.
Rubick doesn't steal a new spell although the enemy cast it. If Rubick already holds a picked stolen spell that is ready and ranked higher or the same in the list, it is kept. Drag the spell you want higher.
The combo doesn't cast the stolen ability. A stolen spell appears in the plan as a separate tile. Check that the tile is on on the Combo tab.
