Magnus
Dota 2 ยท Heroes. The Magnus combo carries the target to your side: Reverse Polarity, Horn Toss and Skewer are placed so that Skewer drags the target to the nearest ally (or to a tower or the fountain). The Skewer card sets whether to wait for Reverse Polarity's stun to end before the carry.

Heroes โ Magnus โ Combo โ Skewer tile โ Ability settings
The Skewer card opens with the icon in the corner of the ability tile or with a right click on the tile. The tile on the Alternative combo tab has its own card with its own values. The other tabs of the page are shared by all heroes โ see Hero page.
How to enableโ
- Menu (
Insert) โ Heroes โ Magnus โ turn on the header toggle of the page (off by default). The general requirements (main toggle, combo key) are in Hero page and General settings. - Turn on the Humanizer: the combo does not work without it.
What it doesโ
- Default ability order: Reverse Polarity โ Horn Toss โ Skewer โ Shockwave โ Empower. Items first: Black King Bar, Blink Dagger, Shiva's Guard, Abyssal Blade, Scythe of Vyse. Eul's Scepter and Psychic Headband are off by default: the first wastes Reverse Polarity's stun, the second pushes the target away.
Skewer
- Skewer is aimed toward the friendly unit nearest the target: an allied hero, or if there is none, a tower or the fountain. The target is dragged to it.
- Skewer is cast when the charge from where Magnus stands catches the target and leaves it closer to your side. Otherwise Magnus moves (on foot or with Blink) behind the target โ to the side away from the allies.
- If the target is in the air after Horn Toss, Skewer waits for it to land on the charge's path.
- With no friendly unit nearby, Skewer is cast at the target as a regular damage ability.
- Right after Reverse Polarity (on by default): Skewer carries the target as soon as Reverse Polarity's or Horn Toss's stun holds it โ the stun runs out on the way. Off โ Skewer waits for the stun to end.
Reverse Polarity
- If Skewer follows in the plan and is ready, Magnus turns toward the ally before the ultimate so that the pulled enemies land on Skewer's path.
Horn Toss (with Aghanim's Scepter)
- If Skewer follows, Horn Toss is cast only when the target will land on the charge's path toward the ally. Otherwise Magnus turns to the target or moves to the allies' side.
- Without Skewer to follow, Horn Toss never throws the target farther from your side than it stands.

FAQโ
Magnus runs behind the target instead of casting Skewer right away. Skewer drags the target to the nearest ally, tower or fountain. If the charge from where he stands won't carry the target to your side, Magnus first moves to the target's far side from the allies.
Magnus turns around before Reverse Polarity. This way the enemies land on Skewer's path toward the allies after the ultimate. He turns only when Skewer is on in the plan and ready.
Reverse Polarity's stun is wasted during the carry. That is intended with Right after Reverse Polarity on: the stun runs out on the way. Turn it off to make Skewer wait for the stun to end.
